Been away for a while, summer school is finally over. Lets get back to business.

First up, all the PS3 hate has seemed to die down...well except for the xbot fanboys. Most people have calmed down and realised the PS3 is worth the 100 dollars (200 for premium) more then the only competitor currently in the market. there are already over 200 games from the big publishers and developers already in development for the PS3 before it has even hit the store shelves. Nov 17 2006 is going to be a very good day to be a gamer.

World of Warcraft
When "The Burning Crusade" expansion is released end game raiding will consist of 10 and 25 man teams, say goodbye to the 40 man raids full of assholes and idiots that have become a chore to most players and hello to the close knit groups of friends that will be laying some serious smackdown while having fun. Also, flying mounts available at lvl 70. Nether drakes are the only currently confirmed flying mount so far, though blizzard has stated more will be available.

The Caverns of Time is a new dungeon being opened up in the expansion. you will battle through historical conflicts in the wow universe and help them go as planned so that the past will not become corrupted by those who seek to destroy the future.

Damn its ben a while since i last posted, was workin overnights at a department store for the past month and recently quit. More posts to come as i get back into the swing of a "normal" life.

Gaming Analysts, how good are they?.. lets take a look back at their assessments and predictions then fast forward to where we are now.

Console gaming will never overshadow the PC gaming market.

Dreamcast would win over PS2 because it had a years head start and was cheaper then the PS2.

Xbox was going to slaughter the PS2

They said Game cubes low price would push it to the forefront of the console wars.

They predicted PS3 at 800 -1200 dollars.

Next the PS3 is going to win this round of the console wars (while they were expecting the ridiculous price).

Then we wouldnt have playable PS3 games at E3 and the price wouldnt be revealed until TGS.

Now that they have the price and say its not as high as we thought but its still a little steep, thats when they turn around and say they are unsure of or doubt the PS3s future success.

after all of the bad predictions why are people still listening to them?

IMHO, i dont they are looking at things from the perspective of gamers anymore. I dont mean the self proclaimed "l337" or "hardcore gamers" i mean the intermediate gamers. The ones who carry the system after the launch frenzies are over.
